Disaster prevention with local communities
New Disaster Preparedness Support Team
New disaster preparedness means
providing safety and security for all!
We assist everyone in handling new disaster preparedness by organizing New Disaster Preparedness Support Teams. The teams visit homes to provide support for prevention of furniture falling over and emergency stockpile preparation for sheltering-at-home. The teams also provide preparedness suggestions for outdoor evacuation and migrating evacuation, and enhance preparedness of aged households and others that cannot proceed with new types of evacuation.

What is the Support Team?
The team provides assistance for new disaster preparedness through home visits and other means. We train supporters who give advice on new disaster preparedness and assist people with purchasing and installing necessary equipment through training and workshops. As a general rule, each team is composed of a companies, a disaster prevention expert, and a student, and the team visits households that require assistance for new disaster preparedness, such as aged households, and assists them with preparing for saving their lives immediately after a disaster occurs.
