Procurement Policy
DCM Holdings Co., Ltd. ensures that all of our suppliers (including shipping) understand and agree to both the DCM Holdings Compliance Policy and the DCM Holdings Human Rights Policy. Therefore, we drafted the DCM Holdings Procurement Policy (hereinafter, “procurement policy”) to clarify our conformance with all international principles, declarations and norms related to labor rights and are requesting observance from all suppliers so that we can work together to create a better society and community environment and so that we can sustainably develop our company.
1. Observance of Laws and Ordinances, Ethics
- We observe all laws and ordinances, bylaws, regulations and fair dealing and competition of the countries and regions in which we do business.
- We understand and implement the procurement policy, and our entire organization will work towards the solving of societal problems. Additionally, we request that our suppliers, subcontractors and contractors abide by the procurement policy.
- Regardless of the situation, we will not engage in any unethical behavior, such as bribery, threatening, corruption like embezzlement and the forgery, falsification or concealment of records, material evidence or testimony. This is so we can conduct earnest and fair corporate activities that have a high degree of transparency and that are in line with societal norms.
- Our ethical mission as a corporation is to resolutely eliminate any connections with antisocial forces and groups, and to ensure that they receive no profit.
2. Human Rights / Labor
- We respect the human rights of all employees and do not engage in any unreasonable harassment or discrimination. Additionally, we respect the privacy of each employee, pay careful and close attention when handling personal information and manage it appropriately.
- Employees involved in physical punishment, mental or physical coercion, or mistreatment through harassment or speech will be dealt with severely.

- We guarantee that employees are employed of their own free will, and we will not engage or participate in any form of coerced employment or labor that violates the free will of the employee through unreasonable limitations of that employee’s freedom.
- We do not approve of child labor and will not engage in any form of child labor. We employ workers who have met the highest age condition of the following items of the minimum labor wage.
① 15 years
② End of compulsory education age
③ Minimum legal labor age in the country where the labor will be conducted - When employing young workers, if the worker is over the legal age or the employable age but under 18, priority will be placed on allowing them to attend school if they are still subject to compulsory education, and they will not be given work that could impair that opportunity (night shifts or overtime work), nor will they be put in dangerous situations.

Wages are set above what would satisfy an employee’s basic needs, and we do not conduct unreasonable wage reductions that would violate labor-related laws and ordinances. - We respect the rights of employees to choose to form, join or operate labor unions that abide by laws and ordinances, and their right to act as a representative of employees and engage in collective bargaining with the company. Additionally, we will work to ensure that the company and the union can stay orderly and honorable, and that problems are solved quickly and peacefully through collective bargaining.
