SDGs awareness raising for the next generation through work experience

DCM undertakes development and sales of its own in-house DCM brand products that take the environment into account, in addition to activities to promote DIY (do it yourself) that incorporates the meaning of using things with care over the long term while repairing them as needed. Furthermore, DCM contributes to building towns where residents can live with peace of mind, by concluding disaster prevention agreements with local governments around Japan, holding disaster prevention events and classes, and sales of crime-prevention products.
The SDGs have been incorporated into school education in recent years, and so DCM has created a new Work Experience Manual and DCM SDGs Handbook to provide students participating in work experience with the opportunity to learn about the SDGs in a practical way so that they can understand DCM's SDG approach and initiatives.
